To fuel research on 5p- genetic disorders to better the lives of impacted individuals
Our Focus
5pRA aims to advance research related to 5p- syndrome by providing research grants to qualified researchers and clinicians in the following areas, with the ultimate goal of developing treatments to improve the lives of 5p- impacted individuals:

► The 5p- patient and family community, to provide research-related information to the community and from which to receive support, insights and biological samples
► Researchers and clinicians, to exchange knowledge on 5p- syndrome and potential treatment techniques and to complete 5p- syndrome-related research projects in the areas of gene therapy, drug repurposing and nutrition
► Other organizations supporting rare disease research, for potential collaboration efforts and information-sharing on best practices for rare disease research and treatment techniques
